I wanted to wrap up my posts about our time visiting the Dolomites in northern Italy by providing some details that should be helpful for others planning to visit the region. I’ll share where we stayed and details about how we used the cable cars

Our last stop was one of the most popular regions in the Dolomites, home to the Instagram-famous Secëda ridge and also Alpe di Siusi high altitude alpine meadow.

Sixteen days in the Dolomites. Technically sixteen nights. We spent four nights, from July 10th to July 14th in San Martino di Castrozza. Our day time activities were pretty much the same as before. Hiking, cable cars and amazing views.

I have heard that inevitably all people as they reach a certain age enter a stage of birdwatching.

I’ve been wanting to visit this part of the world for sometime, to see and hike amongst the amazing mountains.
